During 50/90 2012, I wrote a mandolin part that I later discovered was inspired by the guitar parts in Argent's "Celebration" from Ring of Hands. It was only because I had recently delved into Argent's albums that I even recognised this connexion.
I started this blog as a way to track what I listen to, partially just because I personally find it interesting and partially because I'd like to see if any more direct influencing occurs. Though be aware that this is by no means a complete catalogue.
In some ways, this is a continuation of the MusicDiary2012 project that I discovered through NPR.
